About

Chiang Mai Endurotours is a pure off-road operator working the trails north of Chiang Mai around the Phrao valley, Chiang Dao and the Khun Tan range. It runs only its own fuel-injected dual sports, a Honda CRF250L, a Kawasaki KLX250 and a smaller KLX150 for shorter or lighter riders, and each one is substantially reworked before it sees a trail: closed handguards, alloy bars and wide footpegs, upgraded clutches, braided brake lines, alloy skid plates and frame protectors, motocross tyres on rimlocks, bigger rear sprockets and upgraded suspension front and rear. Servicing is done in-house to western standards. Tours are graded for advanced and experienced riders, run with a technical support rider alongside the tour leader and guide, and include full motocross gear with protectors. Nothing runs until the rains clear, typically mid to late November.
