Moto Mass - Motorcycle adventures

It started with a breakdown in the middle of nowhere.

I didn't start Moto Mass because I wanted to build a tech company. I started it because I was tired of bad tours.

A few years ago, I took a month off to ride through Northern Vietnam. I had booked a bike online from a rental shop that had a decent website and five-star reviews. I pictured myself on a pristine dual-sport, carving through the limestone mountains and drinking coffee with locals.

The reality was different.

When I arrived, the "pristine" bike was a beaten-up scooter with bald tires. The "guide" didn't speak English and spent half the ride on his phone. Two days in, the engine seized on a mountain pass as the sun was setting. I sat on the side of the road, waiting for a truck that never came, and realized something important.

The glossy photos on a website don't matter. The only thing that matters is trust.

Why I Ride

Back home, I ride a 2022 Triumph SpeedTwin. There is something honest about that bike. When you are on two wheels, you can't fake it. You are exposed to the elements, the smells of the road, and the people you meet.

I believe the best way to see the world isn't from the window of a tour bus. It is from behind handlebars. I have found that when you arrive in a small village on a motorcycle, you aren't treated like a tourist. You are treated like a traveler. Barriers break down. People want to know where you came from and where you are going.

Those moments are magic. But finding the right people to help you get there shouldn't be a gamble.

The Moto Mass Promise

I built Moto Mass to solve the problem I faced on that mountain pass. We are not just a list of tours. We are a filter.

Every operator on this site is someone we would ride with ourselves. We look for the locals who know the hidden trails, the mechanics who obsess over tire pressure, and the guides who know that safety is the foundation of fun.

We are building this for the riders who dream of the Dolomites, the Andes, and the Golden Triangle. We are building it so you can book a trip, get on the plane, and know exactly what awaits you when you land.

The world is big. You should see it. And you should have a damn good bike when you do.

Ride safe,

Sid
