About

Let's Ride is a Chiang Mai operator with more than a decade behind it, running two parallel programmes out of the same office: on-road tours across the mountain passes of northern Thailand and enduro tours on jungle trails and hill tribe tracks. It holds Tourism Authority of Thailand licence 22/00779. Road tours default to a Honda CB500X, with a CB650F and other machines available for a supplement; the off-road fleet is a set of professionally modified Honda CRF300Ls with reworked airflow and exhaust, unrestricted ECUs, revised gearing and suspension and enduro tyres. The company handles route planning, refuelling, mechanical support and meals, provides helmet, jacket and gloves on road trips and a full armour kit off-road, and books each rider a private single room in three- and four-star hotels. The guiding is done in English.

5 Day Spirit of the North Motorcycle Tour

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Five riding days and roughly 1,040 kilometres in a loop that takes the western Mae Hong Son roads and then swings east to Chiang Rai instead of turning for home. The first three days follow the shorter Mae Hong Son itinerary through Doi Inthanon, Mae Sariang, Mae Hong Son and Pai, but finish in Chiang Dao rather than Chiang Mai. Day four crosses to Chiang Rai for the White Temple, the Blue Temple and the Big Buddha complex at Wat Huay Pla Kang, and the final leg returns via Phayao and its lakeside town. Let's Ride bills it as a tour for riders of all levels who want long scenic days and the region's best-known cultural landmarks. The published price is 42,000 baht per rider and covers bike, accommodation, breakfast and Thai lunch, fuel, entrance fees, gear and an English-speaking guide.

3 Day Enduro Tour: Chiang Dao and Pai

Chiang Mai, Thailand

Three days and about 395 kilometres of mostly dirt, running Chiang Mai to Chiang Dao to Pai and back with the off-road content rising from around 70 per cent on day one to 85 per cent on day two. The trails are a mix of jungle single track, gravel climbs, ridgelines and farmland tracks past hill tribe villages, and the guides split the group where skill levels diverge so faster riders and cautious ones both get a day they enjoy. Bikes are professionally modified Honda CRF300Ls with reworked airflow and exhaust, unrestricted ECUs, revised gearing and suspension and enduro tyres. Let's Ride pitches the tour at novice to advanced riders and charges 24,000 baht per rider, which covers the bike, full armour, accommodation, breakfast and lunch and the guiding. An optional damage waiver runs at 600 baht a day.
