From Antananarivo the route runs through Antsirabe to the rainforest of Ranomafana National Park, then follows the Pangalanes Channel through Mananjary, Nosy Varika and Vatomandry to Toamasina, finishing with lemur encounters at Ankanin'ny Nofy and Andasibe.
