DOL: The Great Dolomites, 8 Days

DOL is a guided motorcycle journey of 8 days and 7 nights, starting and finishing on the island of Krk. The route covers approximately 1,300 km through Croatia, Slovenia and Italy, with six riding days. It combines famous high passes such as Passo Giau, Pordoi, Sella, Gardena and Fedaia with quieter mountain roads, green valleys and a final descent into the wine-growing countryside around Valdobbiadene. Four nights in Arabba mean you can ride the Dolomites without packing and changing hotels every day. Daily distances range from around 90 km on the Marmolada day to around 400 km on the ride from Krk to Arabba. The roads are paved, with many hairpin bends over high passes; the Furkelpass day has a quieter, more technical character. The final route depends on weather, snow conditions and pass openings, and some sections may be adapted, particularly early in the season. The "from" price of €1,500 per person applies to a group of 10 guests. Prices are per person, sharing a double/twin room, with daily breakfast, and depend on the total number of guests in the group: 2 riders: €3,000 per person 4 riders: €2,000 per person 6 riders: €1,700 per person 8 riders: €1,600 per person 10 riders: €1,500 per person Dates: on request, with planned Monday starts from 3 May 2027. In the standard programme, Monday is the arrival day on Krk and riding begins on Tuesday; the schedule can be adapted, for example arrival on Sunday and riding from Monday, or another agreed start day. All dates are subject to hotel availability. Riders join on their own motorcycles; motorcycle rental is not included in the tour price, and its availability and price are confirmed separately on request. Transfer from Rijeka Airport is complimentary by prior arrangement, and transfers from Venice, Trieste, Ljubljana, Zagreb and other airports can be arranged at extra cost. Moto Adventures Krk designs, organises and leads the motorcycle tours, while the licensed travel agency Da Riva, based in Opatija, handles travel package contracts, payments and invoicing.
