RORE: Roads of Revolution, 8 Days

RORE (Roads of Revolution) is an all-inclusive guided motorcycle journey of 8 days and 7 nights: arrival on Krk, six riding days and departure. The loop starts and finishes on Krk and covers approximately 1,520 km through Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia, along the Una, Sutjeska, Drina and Neretva and over passes such as Ivan Sedlo, Makljen and Vratnik. The route combines mountain roads, river canyons, historic towns and sites connected with the events of the 20th century, including Tito’s Cave in Drvar, the Sutjeska memorial at Tjentište, the Mehmed Paša Sokolović Bridge in Višegrad, the Šargan Eight at Mokra Gora, Baščaršija in Sarajevo, Tito’s Bunker (ARK D-0) in Konjic and the Battle of the Wounded memorial at Jablanica. The operators describe it as a motorcycle journey through the places where events happened, not a political tour or a history lesson. Daily stages run from around 160 km to around 350 km, and the tour suits riders used to longer days and winding mountain roads. The all-inclusive package covers accommodation, daily breakfast and one main meal a day featuring local specialities, served at a time suited to the itinerary, plus soft drinks with included meals and at scheduled breaks. The "from" price of €1,800 per person applies to a group of 10 guests. Prices are per person, sharing a double room, and depend on the total number of guests in the group: 2 riders: €3,100 per person 4 riders: €2,300 per person 6 riders: €2,000 per person 8 riders: €1,900 per person 10 riders: €1,800 per person Dates: on request, with planned Monday starts from 3 May 2027. In the standard programme, Monday is the arrival day on Krk and riding begins on Tuesday; the schedule can be adapted, for example arrival on Sunday and riding from Monday, or another agreed start day. Dates depend on hotel availability and are confirmed at booking. Riders join on their own motorcycles; motorcycle rental is not included in the tour price, and its availability and price are confirmed separately on request. Transfer from Rijeka Airport is complimentary by prior arrangement, and transfers from Venice, Trieste, Ljubljana, Zagreb and other airports can be arranged at extra cost. Moto Adventures Krk designs, organises and leads the motorcycle tours, while the licensed travel agency Da Riva, based in Opatija, handles travel package contracts, payments and invoicing.
