Namibia Motorcycle Tours is a locally based motorcycle adventure operator with more than 27 years of experience exploring Namibia and Southern Africa on two wheels. We specialise in small-group, fully supported motorcycle adventures, from technical off-road expeditions through the remote landscapes of Damaraland and Kaokoland to gravel and adventure tours across Namibia, South Africa, Botswana, the Okavango region and Victoria Falls. Our operation includes a dedicated fleet of off-road and adventure motorcycles, experienced local guides, 4x4 backup, luggage transport, mechanical support, replacement motorcycles, accommodation and camping logistics. With deep local knowledge and decades of experience riding these routes, NMT is built around one objective: giving riders an authentic, professionally supported motorcycle adventure through some of Southern Africa’s most spectacular and remote landscapes.

Starting in Windhoek, the route crosses the Namib Desert and the towering dunes of Sossusvlei before continuing south through Lüderitz, the Fish River Canyon and the Orange River. After crossing into South Africa, the journey continues through Namaqualand, the Cederberg Mountains, Stellenbosch and the Cape Winelands before finishing beneath Table Mountain in Cape Town. Combining vast desert landscapes, remote gravel roads, mountain passes, Atlantic coastline, vineyards and some of Southern Africa’s most iconic destinations, this is a true cross-border adventure without requiring technical off-road riding.

Designed for experienced riders, the route combines sand, rocky tracks, dry riverbeds, mountain terrain and remote desert trails, with highlights including Twyfelfontein, Brandberg, Spitzkoppe, the Namib Desert and Swakopmund. The tour includes motorcycle rental, experienced local guides, 4x4 backup, luggage transport, mechanical support and replacement motorcycle capability, with camping and lodge options available.
