Tagaytay, Philippines
XPLR PH's longest Luzon ride. After a briefing and a short familiarisation ride at the Tagaytay base, the group heads to Baler on the east coast, crosses the Sierra Madre to Santiago and carries on to Aparri at the top of the mainland. The Patapat Viaduct leads to the beaches of Pagudpud, then the route turns south past Cape Bojeador Lighthouse and Paoay Church to Vigan. Sagada and Baguio are the mountain section, before Kennon Road drops back to the coast for the Hundred Islands and a last night in Zambales. Three days are off the bike: Pagudpud, Sagada, and a full day by bangka around the islands. Public departures take up to six riders plus pillions.
A guided 1,900 km loop of northern Luzon from Tagaytay, taking in Baler, the Sierra Madre, Pagudpud, Vigan, Sagada, Baguio and the Hundred Islands. Fuel, tolls and an English-speaking guide are included.
