About

Morocco Sahara Moto Tours is a rider-run outfit based in Ouarzazate that guides dual-sport trips through the Ziz Valley, the Erg Chebbi dunes and the desert tracks around Merzouga, with its published itineraries starting and finishing in Errachidia. The fleet centres on KTM 450 EXC enduros, and the tour pages also list Honda dual-sports on the mixed road-and-trail routes. Longer trips carry a support vehicle, and every departure is led by local guides who ride the same trails year-round. Packages bundle the bike and its fuel, guesthouse, riad and desert-camp nights, breakfast and dinner, a sunset camel ride and Errachidia transfers. No prices are published anywhere on the site; itineraries are quoted individually by WhatsApp or email.

4 Days Moto Tour from Errachidia to Merzouga

Errachidia, Morocco

A short desert loop out of Errachidia on KTM or Honda dual-sports, built around the Erg Chebbi dunes and the black desert tracks behind them. The first day is a deliberately easy 50 to 80 kilometre warm-up through the Ziz Valley, a green ribbon of palms and villages, before the 180-kilometre run south through Erfoud and Rissani to Merzouga. Day three is a 100-kilometre off-road loop taking in Khamlia and its Gnawa musicians, a nomad family, the abandoned M'fis mines and a night in a luxury desert camp; day four returns across the Alnif plateau on a 200-kilometre stage that shifts from open flats to mountain track. The operator rates the tour intermediate and says it suits experienced off-roaders and adventurous newcomers alike. The bike and its fuel, three nights of accommodation, breakfast and dinner, a guide, a support vehicle and Errachidia transfers are included. No prices are published anywhere on the site; itineraries are quoted individually.

5 Days Motorcycle Desert Adventure from Errachidia

Errachidia, Morocco

The operator's most approachable route, described on its own page as beginner-friendly, with the guide adjusting the mix of road and off-road to whoever turns up. Five days out of Errachidia on KTM and Honda dual-sports, opening with a leisurely warm-up through the Ziz Valley palm groves, then 180 kilometres south to the Erg Chebbi dunes at Merzouga. Day three is an 80-kilometre loop through black desert and fossil beds with a night in a luxury desert camp, and days four and five swing north through Rissani to the 300-metre walls of the Todra gorge and back through the mountain passes. Solo riders, couples and small groups are all taken. The bike and its fuel, four nights across guesthouses, riads and the desert camp, breakfast and dinner daily, a professional local guide, a support vehicle and the sunset camel ride at Merzouga are included. No prices are published anywhere on the site; every itinerary is quoted individually by WhatsApp or email.

6 Days Sahara Trails Motorcycle Tour from Errachidia

Errachidia, Morocco

The operator's longest and most committed route, rated for intermediate to advanced riders, with two consecutive days of serious off-road in the frontier country. Six days out of Errachidia on dual-sport or enduro machines: a Ziz Valley warm-up, 180 kilometres south to Merzouga through Erfoud and Rissani, an 80 to 100 kilometre desert loop with a night in a luxury camp, then 160 kilometres of off-road past Taouz and Ramlia to an off-grid solar auberge at Ouzina, 170 kilometres of sand and rock back to Erfoud, and a 90 kilometre run home through the Ziz gorges and a farewell lunch. The bike and fuel, five nights across guesthouses, riads and a desert camp, breakfast and dinner, a bilingual guide, a support vehicle and Errachidia transfers are included. October to April is the recommended window; May and September are manageable; June to August is simply too hot for the desert stages. No prices are published anywhere on the site.
