A six-day, 950 km loop out of Senggigi on Lombok, crossing by ferry to West Sumbawa and back. It is the shorter version of Intrepid Moto's inter-island route, and it keeps the highlights: a private track session on the Mandalika MotoGP circuit, mountain ridgelines with long views, coastal roads through quiet country, and an early morning swim with whale sharks at Labuan Jambu. Two of the days are long, at 268 and 250 km, and the ferry crossing to Sumbawa takes about two hours each way. Riding is fully on-road at an average of around 60 km/h, working out at five to six hours a day. Intrepid Moto rates this one Intermediate rather than Intermediate +, so the requirement is average riding experience, comfort with throttle and clutch control, moderate inclines and sharp curves, and some basic experience of unsurfaced roads. It suits riders who want the Lombok and Sumbawa route but only have a week. Minimum four riders, and lodging is on a shared room basis.

Itinerary
Arrival and warm-up. Airport pickup and hotel transfer, then lunch, a tour overview and a safety briefing. A short warm-up ride follows to get adjusted to the bikes, then a barbecue and sunset at the beach. Stay: beachfront resort and spa, Senggigi. Dinner included.
Off to the races (140 km). Sweeping ridgeline roads with panoramic views lead to a private track experience on the Mandalika MotoGP circuit. The route then continues through traditional villages and tobacco farms to a beach camp, with dinner and a bonfire. Stay: boutique beachfront resort in southeast Lombok. Breakfast and dinner included.
Crossing over (176 km). Riding north after breakfast to Kayangan Port for the two-hour ferry to Sumbawa, with a stop at a traditional fishing village. The group arrives at its oceanfront base in time for sunset. Stay: beachfront resort in Sekongkang. Breakfast and dinner included.
The highland twist (268 km). A morning across the sprawling southern farmlands, then a long run of twisties climbing through highland forest. The afternoon follows the scenic central highway to the fishing village of Labuan Jambu. Stay: standard accommodation in Labuan Jambu. Breakfast and dinner included.
Swimming with the giants (115 km). An early start on a traditional wooden fishing boat before sunrise for a swim alongside whale sharks. After returning it is a relaxed departure back along the central highway, with a short afternoon ride to the seaside cottages. Stay: boutique seaside resort in Sumbawa Besar. Sumbawa to Senggigi (250 km). A morning ride along the northern ocean highway to Poto Tano and the two-hour ferry back to Lombok, then a coffee stop with the mountain views at Sembalun before the finish line in Senggigi. Stay: beachfront resort and spa in Senggigi. Breakfast and dinner included.
